Description

  • Lead the company’s HRIS implementation as the internal program owner, including scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting.
  • Manage the implementation partner on a day-to-day basis and ensure deliverables, quality, and timing are met.
  • Drive change management across HR, Finance, and IT, including training, communications, and rollout planning.
  • Make configuration decisions for HCM, Benefits, and Payroll modules based on business needs and best practices.
  • Oversee data migration to ensure people data is accurate, auditable, and complete in the new system.
  • Manage integrations between the HRIS and related platforms such as payroll, equity management, benefits carriers, and ATS systems.
  • Build the post-go-live ownership model, including governance, admin responsibilities, and upgrade processes.
  • Develop people analytics capabilities and executive dashboards covering workforce cost, headcount, attrition risk, and org health.
  • Partner with Finance on headcount planning, workforce cost modeling, and scenario analysis for fundraising, board reporting, and organizational change.
  • Act as the primary systems and analytics partner to executive leaders and cross-functional teams, translating business questions into people data solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, People Analytics, or a combined role, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Direct experience leading or co-leading a major HRIS implementation, such as Workday, SAP, or an equivalent system.
  • Strong project management discipline for managing a complex, multi-workstream implementation with a cross-functional team and external systems integrator.
  • Demonstrated ability to build people analytics programs and turn workforce data into executive-level insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including comfort presenting to the C-suite and Board.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive people data.
  • Experience with venture-backed or high-growth technology companies and maturing people analytics capabilities.
  • Experience in robotics, deep tech, hardware, or another technical product company is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a fundraising round, secondary transaction, or pre-IPO systems review is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
