Description

  • Lead and develop senior leaders and multi-disciplinary teams across creative and product functions.
  • Build a high-performance team culture through mentorship, hiring, standards, and capability development.
  • Drive the Experience function’s AI transformation roadmap and close capability gaps with measurable improvements.
  • Evaluate and optimize day-to-day tools, workflows, and delivery frameworks to reduce low-value effort and improve consistency.
  • Establish standardized processes and deliverable frameworks for experience design and product work.
  • Own the Experience practice’s budget, utilization, financial contribution, and performance accountability.
  • Partner with PMO, POPS, Growth, Technology, Marketing, and Client Services to improve operations, scoping, pricing, and workflow optimization.
  • Represent APPLY’s ACx perspective through thought leadership, published content, industry events, and senior client conversations.
  • Serve as a senior advisor and strategic partner to clients and internal leadership on experience quality, product strategy, and agentic AI.
  • Build sales enablement materials and help scope, price, and expand experience and product services.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in UX, product, or experience design, including significant senior leadership experience at a digital consultancy, agency, or product-led organization.
  • 5+ years leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams of 15+ people across creative and product functions.
  • Proven track record of practice transformation, process design, standards creation, and culture building that improve output quality and team health.
  • Experience leading complex, large-scale brand, experience, and technology projects for enterprise and brand-name clients.
  • Experience managing and developing senior leaders and strong principal contributors.
  • Proven ability to own senior client relationships and expand engagements over time.
  • Experience contributing to business development, including pitching, scoping, and pricing services in a consulting context.
  • Strong financial literacy, including budget ownership, utilization modeling, margin analysis, and pricing strategy.
  • Experience with Agentic AI tools and workflows, or a strong record of rapidly mastering emerging technologies in a professional setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated history of external thought leadership through speaking, writing, or publishing.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and pressure while creating structure.
  • Deep familiarity with Agile and iterative delivery models and experience partnering with PMO functions.
  • Preferred: familiarity with agentic delivery methodology or a consulting environment similar to BMAD.
  • Preferred: depth in standard product management practices or design system practices.
