Description

  • Own the end-to-end Salesforce build, including data model, automation, UI, permissions, and packaging, from technical design through deployment.
  • Serve as the platform-level design authority for schema, sharing, visibility, and automation architecture decisions.
  • Enforce production-grade Salesforce standards, including test coverage, security correctness, governor-limit awareness, and CLI-based deployment practices.
  • Define and protect API and data contracts between Salesforce and backend integration services for identity validation, CRM sync, e-signature, and B2B commerce.
  • Coordinate changes across Salesforce, integration, and cloud components to ensure compatibility and avoid breaking downstream systems.
  • Identify dependencies, scope risks, and technical debt early, and propose solutions to delivery blockers.
  • Translate Salesforce platform constraints into clear guidance for PMs, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and mentor Salesforce and adjacent engineers through reviews, coaching, and hands-on technical support.

Requirements

  • Senior/Lead-level experience delivering complex Salesforce Platform (Sales/Service Cloud, Core CRM) projects and supporting them in production.
  • Hands-on expertise with Apex, including triggers, services, async processing, test classes, and governor-limit-aware design.
  • Strong experience with Flows, including record-triggered and screen flows.
  • Experience building custom UI with LWC where declarative tools are insufficient.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce data model and security, including custom objects, Record Types, permission sets/groups, FLS, and sharing.
  • Experience with deployment and ALM using SFDX source format, metadata/CLI deployment (`sf`), sandboxes, branching strategy, and CI-based deploys.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns, including REST/Apex callouts, Connected Apps, OAuth 2.0, Platform Events, and outbound patterns.
  • Ability to coordinate API-based integrations and reason about a cloud/microservice backend such as Node/NestJS on AWS, including an SFCC B2B commerce component.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers through coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or an Architect-track credential are preferred.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and high-coverage delivery is preferred.
  • DocuSign eSignature for Salesforce or comparable managed-package e-signature experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to financial services, credit bureau, or identity/KYC onboarding flows, and comfort in regulated or enterprise-security environments, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Node.js/NestJS, AWS (ECS Fargate), Terraform, Okta/SSO, and Jenkins/Bitbucket CI/CD is preferred.
  • Exposure to CMS-driven frontends such as Next.js and Contentful is preferred.
