Description

  • Lead the design and development of high-performance frontend applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Translate backlog requirements from Product, UX, and other disciplines into detailed specifications for coding agents to implement.
  • Synthesize user stories, site maps, content strategy, components, design systems, and brand strategy into implementation-ready specs.
  • Design and implement digital solutions with SEO/GEO, accessibility, performance, and content management integrations.
  • Integrate frontend experiences with composable platforms such as Contentful, Contentstack, Algolia, and Cloudinary.
  • Apply spec-driven development practices to ensure clarity, consistency, and high-quality delivery.
  • Architect frontend solutions that integrate with backend services and AI-powered systems.
  • Design user experiences that help users express goals, constraints, and context clearly to AI agents.
  • Build frontend experiences leveraging AI-powered APIs, LLM-driven features, RAG-based experiences, and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Collaborate with backend teams, mentor frontend engineers, and communicate technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with React and Next.js.
  • Proven experience with spec-driven development.
  • Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills.
  • Experience with LLMs such as Gemini 3, Claude Opus, or GPT-4.x/5.x.
  • Experience with vector stores and RAG-powered applications.
  • Experience using Agent Development Kits such as Google ADK.
  • Experience building applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform, with familiarity with Vertex AI and Google Gen AI APIs.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong system design fundamentals, including API design, data flow, caching strategies, and performance considerations for production-scale applications.
  • Proven leadership experience at the Staff or Lead level, including mentoring engineers and leading complex frontend delivery.
  • Generalist engineering strength with comfort understanding backend systems and distributed system architecture.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and passion for Generative AI as a career focus.
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with fully remote, distributed teams.
  • Experience in a consultancy or professional services firm.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, agency-style environment.
  • Experience with BMAD Method or similar spec-driven development frameworks, preferred.
  • Experience with AI agent design patterns, task planning, and reasoning, preferred.
  • Experience with agent observability and debugging, preferred.
  • Familiarity with layered and distributed architectures, preferred.
  • Experience with Terraform, preferred.
  • Experience with backend technologies to support full-stack collaboration, preferred.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms or complex frontend ecosystems, preferred.
