Description

  • Lead end-to-end implementations for CDPs and marketing automation systems, including documentation, planning, and implementation requirements.
  • Identify technology-based solutions to business challenges and recommend tools to improve existing martech stacks.
  • Provide technical specifications and requirements to internal teams and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
  • Manage implementation projects and communicate deliverables clearly with clients throughout the engagement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in client presentations and standups, explaining deliverables, ideas, and best practices.
  • Support marketing analytics and reporting, including user journey analysis, automation, and customer data.
  • Understand and work across multi-channel and omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • Map user states, events, and customer journeys to support personalization and lifecycle programs.
  • Assist with building or optimizing marketing programs, data flows, schemas, and personalized messaging.
  • Support migrations and improvements to lifecycle programs, including schema parity, data accuracy, and platform feature enablement.

Requirements

  • Experience defining cross-platform technical requirements across a martech stack.
  • Hands-on experience with CDPs such as Segment, RudderStack, mParticle, Tealium, or similar platforms.
  • Experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys in tools such as Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, customer.io, or similar lifecycle marketing platforms.
  • Experience with analytics, enrichment, and attribution tools across the martech stack.
  • Understanding of multi-channel and omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • Knowledge of marketing attribution and ability to audit platform integrations and attribution data.
  • Proficiency with JSON or SQL and data modeling best practices.
  • Experience with reverse ETL tools such as Hightouch or Census.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages and lambda functions.
  • Ability to present technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written communication, organization, email etiquette, and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter mindset with a friendly, collaborative attitude.
  • Platform experience with Shopify or Magento.
  • Hybrid/remote-friendly work arrangement; preferred candidates are based in Canada or Spain and can work aligned or overlapping hours with ET/PT.
  • Nice to have: experience in MarTech, AdTech, and product-focused work.
  • Nice to have: experience designing martech stacks from scratch.
