Description

  • Lead end-to-end CDP and marketing automation implementations, from planning and documentation through code requirements.
  • Identify technology solutions for business challenges and recommend tools to improve existing MarTech stacks.
  • Define technical specifications and requirements for internal engineers and project teams.
  • Lead implementation projects and communicate deliverables clearly with clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in sales presentations and client standups.
  • Support marketing analytics and reporting as needed.
  • Translate technical requirements into code for marketing programs and data flows.
  • Optimize lifecycle programs by improving data accuracy, schemas, and personalization opportunities.
  • Guide migrations between marketing automation platforms while preserving data parity and enabling new use cases.

Requirements

  • Experience determining cross-platform technical requirements across a MarTech stack.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions in Segment, Rudderstack, mParticle, Tealium, or similar CDPs.
  • Experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys in Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, customer.io, or similar lifecycle marketing tools.
  • Experience with analytics, enrichment, and attribution tools.
  • Understanding of multi/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution and the ability to audit platform integrations and attribution data.
  • Proficiency with JSON or SQL/data modeling best practices.
  • Experience with reverse ETL tools such as Hightouch or Census.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages and lambda functions.
  • Ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written communication, organization, email etiquette, and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a motivated, team-oriented mindset.
  • Platform experience with Shopify or Magento is preferred.
  • Must be based in Canada and work ET- or PT-aligned hours, or based in Spain with overlap to ET or PT hours.
