Description

  • Design, develop, and productionize scalable internal tools and AI workflows for system engineering and validation.
  • Integrate data across requirements management, modeling, and validation tools to provide end-to-end traceability.
  • Build backend services and APIs that unify distributed engineering artifacts into a cohesive platform.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for requirement coverage, trace completeness, and validation progress.
  • Own and evolve the core traceability data model, including bidirectional traceability, versioning, baselining, and change impact analysis.
  • Refactor internal prototypes into production-grade systems with strong reliability, access control, and auditability.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, safety, and autonomy teams to support compliance and safety case development.
  • Scale internal tooling to support production programs and future regulatory needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in backend software development, internal tooling, or platform engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java or C/C++.
  • Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and integrating systems via APIs.
  • Experience building scalable backend services and working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to work across complex, cross-functional technical domains.
  • Experience with requirements management or system modeling tools (preferred).
  • Experience building dashboards, metrics frameworks, or traceability platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with configuration management or compliance-driven environments (preferred).
  • Exposure to safety-critical or regulated systems (preferred).
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced engineering environment (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $125,000 - $185,000 USD annually.
