Description

  • Design and implement distributed cloud GPU training approaches for deep learning model training and evaluation.
  • Build end-to-end machine learning pipelines and integrate them into core product workflows.
  • Work across the full ML lifecycle, including dataset generation, training frameworks, compute, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Collaborate directly with modeling teams to support machine learning infrastructure needs.
  • Partner with engineers across the company to solve complex data problems at scale.
  • Encourage and support machine learning engineering best practices.
  • Take ownership of technical and product decisions related to the platform and workflows.
  • Interact with internal and external users to gather feedback and improve solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience building software components for production, full-stack machine learning challenges.
  • Ability to think beyond research and work on applied machine learning systems.
  • Opinions on how to build a company-wide platform for ML training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of the open source landscape and judgment on when to use open source versus build in-house.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred experience developing, running, and managing orchestration systems such as Airflow or Flyte.
  • Preferred experience with ML modeling frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Preferred experience with model serving platforms such as TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving, or NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $153,000 to $222,000 annually.
