Description

  • Own Atlassian demo environments, including provisioning, seeded datasets, reference environments, teardown, and refreshes.
  • Build and maintain self-service sandbox environments for Solution Partners.
  • Design automation that reduces technical overhead and improves time-to-demo for Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture.
  • Maintain technical documentation for security questionnaires, RFPs, and trust center responses.
  • Run Instance Optimization inventory extracts and pricing pulls for consolidation assessments.
  • Transition successful field-built prototypes into production with Engineering and DevOps, covering ownership, hosting, deployment, and support.
  • Define and enforce graduation criteria for moving prototypes from pilot to production.
  • Monitor demo environment health, provisioning performance, and capacity while resolving technical bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering, preferably supporting sales engineering, solutions, or presales teams.
  • Experience administering and provisioning Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center environments, including Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience building and operating self-service sandbox or demo environments with lifecycle management and seeded or synthetic data.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure automation, Python or Bash scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience preparing existing tools or prototypes for production, including code review, hosting, deployment, and support.
  • Strong written communication skills for producing technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
  • Ability to collaborate across Solutions, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering, and DevOps teams.
