Description

  • Define the technical architecture for Anomali’s Intelligent Unification Layer, Governed Decisioning Layer, Agentic SOC Platform, and MIaaS.
  • Translate product strategy, customer outcomes, and business requirements into scalable implementation plans.
  • Lead architecture reviews and approve technical designs for strategic product initiatives.
  • Establish architectural principles, engineering standards, and reusable platform patterns.
  • Align product and technical decisions across platform services, APIs, AI models, data services, and distributed infrastructure.
  • Partner with Product Management to sequence roadmap delivery, assess trade-offs, and clarify current versus future capabilities.
  • Design agent orchestration, reasoning pipelines, contextual decision systems, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Architect large-scale data platforms for ingestion, normalization, enrichment, deduplication, correlation, storage, and retrieval.
  • Guide AI and data science teams in operationalizing models, inference, evaluation, observability, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams and remove architectural blockers for strategic initiatives.
  • Engage customers and executives to explain technical strategy, deployment constraints, and product direction.
  • Drive platform modernization, reduce technical debt, and mentor technical leaders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience, with 12+ years preferred, in software engineering, systems architecture, AI platform architecture, product architecture, or technical leadership.
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale SaaS, cloud-native, data, or AI platforms.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise AI or agentic platform architecture.
  • Deep expertise in large-scale data and distributed platform architecture.
  • Experience translating product strategy into technical architecture, delivery sequencing, and implementation plans.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through production delivery.
  • Ability to lead engineers and technical teams through influence rather than direct reporting relationships.
  • Strong experience partnering with Product Management organizations.
  • Experience making and documenting architectural trade-offs involving scope, timing, performance, scalability, security, and cost.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical leaders and strategic customers.
  • Must not now or in the future require US visa sponsorship.
  • Bay Area candidates preferred for onsite/hybrid work in Redwood City, CA; remote candidates within the United States will also be considered.
  • Strong technical depth in AI platform and agentic system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, large-scale data platforms, and enterprise security architecture.
  • Conversant knowledge of data lake/lakehouse technologies, distributed search, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, MLOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity platforms and operating models, including SIEM, threat intelligence, XDR, SOAR, observability, and AI-driven security operations.
  • Preferred: experience building AI-native enterprise software products or autonomous/semi-autonomous AI agent platforms.
  • Preferred: experience developing security analytics, threat intelligence, or security operations products.
  • Preferred: experience presenting architecture and product strategy to CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and enterprise architecture leaders.
  • Preferred: experience operating in highly governed, sovereign, auditable, or regulated environments.
