Description

  • Define architecture for the Intelligent Unification Layer, Governed Decisioning Layer, Agentic SOC Platform, and MIaaS.
  • Translate product strategy, customer outcomes, and business requirements into scalable architecture, delivery sequencing, and implementation plans.
  • Lead architecture reviews, approve technical designs, and establish reusable platform patterns and engineering standards.
  • Design agent orchestration, reasoning pipelines, contextual decision systems, AI-assisted workflows, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Architect governed AI decisioning with authorization, traceability, auditability, explainability, rollback, and policy enforcement.
  • Design large-scale data platforms for security telemetry ingestion, normalization, enrichment, correlation, storage, and retrieval.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and leadership to evaluate trade-offs, dependencies, and roadmap commitments.
  • Guide production architecture for model inference, lifecycle management, evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead technical direction for cross-functional strategic initiatives, remove architectural blockers, and maintain decision records.
  • Engage customers and executive stakeholders on technical strategy, deployment requirements, and AI-driven security operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, AI or product architecture, or technical leadership; 12+ years preferred.
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale SaaS, cloud-native, data, or AI platforms.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise AI or agentic platform architecture and large-scale distributed data platforms.
  • Experience translating product strategy into technical architecture, implementation plans, and delivery sequencing.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives through production delivery and influencing engineers without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, orchestration, and shared platform services.
  • Technical depth in high-volume ingestion, streaming, data governance, lineage, provenance, data quality, and enterprise security operations.
  • Experience designing governed autonomous or human-in-the-loop AI systems, including identity, authorization, auditability, and policy enforcement.
  • Working knowledge of lakehouse technologies, distributed search, vector databases, RAG, MLOps, Kubernetes, and hybrid or sovereign deployment models.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; Bay Area candidates are preferred for a hybrid Redwood City schedule, though U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered.
