Description

Own and manage end-to-end payroll operations for the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing across all assigned countries.
Maintain compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards, including SOX controls.
Partner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and resolve payroll issues.
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll questions from employees, vendors, and internal teams.
Maintain and improve payroll systems, processes, and controls.
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Accounting, Finance, and HR teams.
Assist with payroll journal entry preparation during month-end close.
Support audits and implement process improvements based on findings.
Collaborate with HR to ensure data accuracy across employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, promotions, and terminations.

Requirements

4+ years of proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations across European jurisdictions.
Experience in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, or France is a plus.
Experience managing payroll implications of equity awards across multiple jurisdictions, including taxation, withholding, and reporting obligations.
Strong knowledge of European labor law and statutory requirements is required.
Strong knowledge of United States and Canadian labor law and payroll practices is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external payroll providers across multiple countries.
Proficiency in international HRIS and payroll systems such as Personio, UKG/Immedis, ADP, SAP, or similar.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
Fluent written and spoken English is required.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
