Description

Own and manage end-to-end payroll operations across the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Austria.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing across all assigned countries.
Maintain compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards, including SOX controls.
Partner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and resolve issues.
Serve as the primary contact for payroll questions from employees, vendors, and internal teams.
Maintain and improve payroll systems, processes, and controls.
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Accounting, Finance, and HR teams.
Assist with payroll journal entry preparation during month-end close.
Support audits and implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with HR to ensure data accuracy across onboarding, promotions, terminations, and other employee lifecycle events.

Requirements

4+ years of proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations across European jurisdictions.
Experience with payroll implications of equity awards across multiple jurisdictions, including taxation, withholding, and reporting obligations.
Strong knowledge of European labor law and statutory requirements.
Strong knowledge of United States and Canadian labor law and payroll practices is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external payroll providers across multiple countries.
Proficiency in international HRIS and payroll systems such as Personio, UKG/Immedis, ADP, SAP, or similar.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, international environment.
Experience in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, or France is a plus.

Benefits

Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
