Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team while overseeing day-to-day AP operations.
  • Own the procure-to-pay cycle from invoice receipt through payment disbursement.
  • Continuously evaluate AP workflows and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices.
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of AP technologies, including Oracle Fusion and automation tools such as OCR and IDP.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, resolve inquiries and disputes, and negotiate payment terms when appropriate.
  • Supervise invoice processing, coding, authorization, 1099 considerations, and vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining internal controls and payment schedules.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare AP reports and analyze aging, spend, and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support internal and external audits related to the accounts payable function.
  • Recruit, train, and manage AP staff, including performance reviews and ongoing feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically the Accounts Payable module; this is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience with OCR and IDP technologies in an AP environment; this is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
