Description

  • Define, establish, and lead the infrastructure integration engineering practice for acquisition integrations.
  • Own the infrastructure components of acquisition integration from discovery and due diligence through migration execution and hypercare.
  • Conduct technical assessments of target companies' infrastructure, systems, and operational capabilities, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and present architectural strategies and integration roadmaps to executives, founders, and technical teams.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure system architectures for integrated environments aligned with Anduril’s technology strategy.
  • Develop and execute migration plans while managing technical dependencies and complexity.
  • Provide post-migration hypercare support to stabilize integrated systems.
  • Define, document, benchmark, and continuously improve repeatable integration processes through post-mortems and lessons learned.
  • Identify tooling gaps and either build tools or scope them for others to develop.
  • Collaborate with Security and Client Engineering teams to ensure compliant, seamless integrations.
  • Act as a technical authority, mentor, and trusted advisor for engineering teams involved in integration efforts.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of progressive experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, and/or IT Infrastructure roles in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Ability to execute independently across technical and non-technical program management, architecture, and hands-on engineering work.
  • Experience defining and building engineering practices and repeatable processes.
  • Experience across the full engineering lifecycle, from discovery and architecture to execution and hypercare.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executives, founders, and engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise networking technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Strong knowledge of server virtualization, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with IAM solutions, SSO, and MFA.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and common system and network vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with client engineering principles and technologies.
  • Experience identifying tooling gaps and either building solutions or scoping them for development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel for remote deployments and assessments as required.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and principles (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with data center design and operations (preferred).
  • Experience in defense technology or other highly regulated industries (preferred).
