Description

  • Support the Head of Production in managing the manufacturing and production lifecycle for advanced defense technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitor project budgets and track progress to keep programs on scope and on budget.
  • Provide regular updates to internal teams and leadership on project status, risks, and solutions.
  • Coordinate allocation of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals.
  • Serve as the production point of contact for changes to existing products and new products in the pipeline.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and roadblocks that could affect timelines or operational objectives.
  • Coordinate across commercial, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to align production efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations program management, production, or manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or complex hardware industries.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production workflows.
  • Experience launching new products on condensed timelines.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean, TPS, or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Gantt charts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, MES, or PLM systems is preferred.
