Description

  • Develop supply plans with the Demand Planning team to meet overall material supply needs for the business.
  • Manage execution of the supply plan with Procurement to maintain target stock levels.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to ensure component availability and production schedules align with material availability.
  • Identify and escalate material shortages to purchasing and production teams to support clear-to-build decisions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize supply allocations.
  • Work with Engineering to provide visibility into material coverage for component changes.
  • Manage consumables inventory to support production needs.
  • Develop and maintain processes for working within MRP and related master data.
  • Own material flow responsibility across the value chain from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production role involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a value chain end-to-end and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve on-time delivery under stringent quality standards.
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Ability to take on substantial responsibility across supply chain, logistics, engineering, and material planning functions with a bias toward speed and accuracy.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma principles (preferred).
