Description

  • Drive complex transformation projects across Data Operations, moving teams from manual, reactive processes to proactive, exception-based workflows.
  • Design and implement process improvements, scalable workflows, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI tooling, LLMs, and modern data management platforms to reduce operational friction and cycle times.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Client Services, and Product teams to turn transformation needs into scalable technical roadmaps.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success, impact, and ROI of transformation initiatives.
  • Lead cultural and operational change required to adopt new tools and ensure high adoption across operational teams.
  • Mentor team members and serve as a subject matter expert for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in data operations, financial services technology, or consulting.
  • Proven track record of leading complex operational improvements.
  • Deep functional knowledge of the specified data operations domains, including Market Data, Portfolio Data, Custodial Feeds Onboarding, IBOR, and Alternative Investments.
  • Hands-on experience using AI/ML tools, prompt engineering, or LLMs to optimize data workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to identify systemic bottlenecks and anticipate future capacity constraints in complex data ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory and control landscape surrounding financial data, including data integrity and security considerations.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and communicate complex technical architecture as clear business value to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and able to begin work on the first day of employment.

Benefits

  • $142,000–$223,000 base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
