Description

  • Develop, lead, and manage execution of the QMS and its top-level processes.
  • Lead QMS software implementation and adoption across Anduril sites.
  • Coordinate internal and external QMS audits by prioritizing tasks and resources.
  • Partner with business systems, product quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to prepare processes, digital tools, and sites for QMS requirements.
  • Build the internal QMS roadmap for tools and capabilities as the company scales.
  • Serve as a systems expert for quality tools, processes, and data sets to support effective QMS execution.
  • Communicate with external audit agencies and support customer audits as needed.
  • Manage the internal auditor process and participate as an internal auditor.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that improve QMS and product quality.
  • Support investigations, initiatives, projects, training modules, and training record retention.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions from audit findings and customer visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing.
  • Expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in a complex product environment.
  • Experience with one or more QMS standards: ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, or TL 9000 R6.3.
  • Working knowledge of QMS software such as Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, or QT9.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and basic data visualization.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with software system implementation and onboarding internal and external users.
  • Working knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, contracts, and other functions involved in a company-wide audit.
  • Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects from start to completion.
  • U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • AS9100 aerospace auditor or lead auditor certification preferred.
  • One or more ASQ certifications preferred: CQE, CRE, CMQ/OE, or CQA.
  • Experience with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, onboarding teams, and remote site QMS preferred.
