Description

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across corporate and production environments, including offices, data centers, and operational sites.
  • Install and support multi-vendor network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy servers.
  • Implement and optimize network security, performance, and reliability across corporate environments.
  • Manage secure multi-site connectivity between remote sites and public cloud environments using IPSec and related technologies.
  • Monitor network health, investigate faults, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Operate network monitoring and alerting systems and participate in incident management and post-mortem processes.
  • Develop and support automation scripts and tools to streamline network operations and reduce manual work.
  • Maintain documentation for network topology, cabling, IP allocations, routing/switching configurations, inventories, runbooks, and technical support guides.
  • Procure network equipment, coordinate subcontractors, and collaborate with engineering and telecom/LV teams on network needs.
  • Provide rotating on-call support and travel to remote sites for installs, upgrades, and assessments.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or equivalent in a production environment.
  • Solid experience with vendor-agnostic switching, routing, and wireless technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools, including stateful firewalls, Palo Alto Networks, Panorama, ACLs, and basic traffic monitoring with Taps/SPAN.
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, VRFs, DNS, QoS, and spine-leaf datacenter design.
  • Experience with monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow.
  • Familiarity with network automation and basic scripting in Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with host-based networking configurations on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience using enterprise ticketing systems to manage a personal queue.
  • Good documentation skills and clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for remote deployments and participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Preferred: relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, JNCIS, or JNCIP.
  • Preferred: experience with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Juniper, or Palo Alto.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Preferred: experience in Zero Trust or BeyondCorp environments.
  • Preferred: experience testing voice and data circuits.
  • Preferred: experience with high-density wireless deployments and advanced RF optimization techniques.
  • Preferred: familiarity with 802.1X, guest portals, and NAC integration for wired and wireless devices.
