Description

  • Create and maintain electrical system test strategies and test plans for Anduril products.
  • Conduct electrical compliance and robustness testing, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-1275.
  • Design and deploy electrical system integration test benches such as Iron Bird, Copper Bird, and Lab Car setups.
  • Decompose vehicle-level test requirements into component-level requirements.
  • Analyze failures from unit-, integration-, and system-level testing and drive coverage improvements.
  • Develop mitigations and paths to compliance and reliability for test failures.
  • Perform integration testing of electrical subsystems and verify their functionality.
  • Use data analysis and existing tools to reproduce and characterize failures.
  • Support environmental reliability testing efforts at the PCBA and LRU level, including HALT and HASS.
  • Develop custom harnesses and fixtures for EMI/EMC and power quality testing.
  • Support validation of automated test systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience focused on EMI/EMC, hardware validation, and integration testing.
  • Experience with hardware development lifecycle, reliability, and compliance testing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with experience applying them safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data parsing and visualization.
  • Experience with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and data acquisition/measurement sensors.
  • Familiarity with environmental and compliance standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1275.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning, and training as required.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
  • Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with firmware integration, vehicle-level validation, and debugging is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance standards is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LabVIEW, TILE, or similar test execution and automation software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with analytical and modeling tools such as SPICE, HFSS, and CST is preferred.
