Description

  • Participate in project planning sessions and potentially take a lead role in project teamwork.
  • Assume project engineering responsibilities while meeting financial and work goals.
  • Initiate project designs and help develop design goals and systems for building construction.
  • Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, signaling, communications, and telecommunications.
  • Prepare construction documents, including drawings and specifications, and specify electrical equipment.
  • Guide less experienced team members in producing drawings and layouts.
  • Perform quality control checks on engineering documents and system layouts.
  • Participate in value engineering sessions with the architectural and engineering team.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders during construction document preparation.
  • Conduct job site visits and participate in construction meetings to verify conditions and observe progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with electrical engineering design programs such as Revit, AGI32, Visual, and SKM Power Tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work as an independent thinker and contribute to process development.
  • Must have working knowledge while continuing to build higher-level expertise.
  • Resume and portfolio required when applying.
  • Must be able to complete mandatory training, including compliance training, within required timeframes and follow internal policies and the Code of Conduct.
