Description

Design combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power architectures.
Design embedded electronics from concept through functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic design, PCB design, board bring-up, and system-level integration.
Troubleshoot issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and basic software debugging tools.
Work with modern SoCs and networking hardware to build Anduril platforms.
Partner with firmware and software engineers on processor and peripheral selection, board bring-up, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and customers in a fast-paced environment.
Help transform prototypes into manufacturable products for radar systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products.
Demonstrated experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory buses, Ethernet MAC and PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and communication busses such as SPI and I2C.
Experience with microprocessor and microcontroller selection, configuration, and interfacing.
Experience with component selection, schematic capture, high-speed board design, and guiding PCB layout.
Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes, spectrum/network analyzers, and automated testing.
Familiarity with product development processes and tools.
Knowledge of embedded software development, including timers, interrupts, and hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs.
Experience with signal integrity and power integrity rules and simulation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and organization skills.
Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design tools.
Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages for test automation.
Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Familiarity with RF design and layout (preferred).
Past experience with PCB placement and routing (preferred).
Experience with JESD204 and PCIe (preferred).
Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-461/704/1275 (preferred).
Experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs and software-defined radios (preferred).

Base salary range of $126,000 to $167,000 USD.
