Description

  • Serve as the data and systems administrator for the EHS operations team and support communications on safety data trends.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and metric systems that visualize EHS data and safety trends for leadership.
  • Develop and administer the in-house EHS management system, including feature scoping, coding, API integration, and iteration based on user feedback.
  • Own the EHS digital toolset, including system configuration, permissions, workflows, and data structures.
  • Train and support end users on dashboards, tools, workflows, documentation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines using Python and SQL to collect, clean, transform, and prepare EHS data.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate system builds, automate repetitive analysis, and prototype new capabilities.
  • Create executive-ready reports and data visualizations that translate safety data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Oversee data quality through periodic audits and record cleanup.
  • Analyze incident, audit, risk, training, compliance, and sustainability data to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, BI Developer, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, SQL, or JavaScript, with the ability to build tools rather than only use them.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Foundry, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding and productivity tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, and the ability to incorporate them into daily workflows.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal tools, web apps, or system integrations involving APIs, databases, or workflow automation.
  • Strong data wrangling skills, including cleaning, transforming, and validating messy real-world datasets.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Experience with EHS information management systems such as VelocityEHS, Intelex, or Gensuite is preferred.
  • Experience with ETL pipelines, data warehousing, or data engineering workflows is preferred.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal technical builds is preferred.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
