Description

  • Design, deploy, and operate mission-critical cloud infrastructure that is highly available, resilient, and scalable.
  • Develop and maintain tooling to support deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate complex issues across Linux-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to optimize containerized application deployments using RKE2.
  • Monitor and remediate security weaknesses and baseline regressions across infrastructure.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure across Anduril.
  • Work with teams to shape technical objectives and measure progress toward program goals.
  • Lead and mentor engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with partner teams.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience with Go, Python, Java, or other common object-oriented languages.
  • Strong engineering background from industry or school.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
  • Deep experience architecting and securing cloud infrastructure in production environments.
  • Highly proficient in multiple modern cloud providers, preferably GCP or AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers and working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to decompose abstract program goals into technical objectives and measurable strategies.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance that can be maintained.
  • Preferred: experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, and/or SRE roles.
  • Preferred: extensive SRE experience in Kubernetes environments and with managed Kubernetes offerings such as Rancher or Anthos.
  • Preferred: experience hardening and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
  • Preferred: familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver.
  • Preferred: experience with advanced cloud security principles and practices.
