Description

  • Build, operate, and continuously improve the headcount planning and capacity modeling system for the Production talent acquisition function.
  • Maintain a real-time view of recruiting capacity versus incoming demand and surface gaps before they become crises.
  • Work with talent acquisition and site leaders to prioritize hiring demand against constrained capacity.
  • Translate planning data into executive narratives for leadership reviews and business decisions.
  • Design and operate the framework for how business lines and sites submit, justify, and prioritize hiring needs.
  • Serve as steward of the master headcount plan, including tracking approvals, modeling scenarios, and managing change control.
  • Partner with Finance, Strategy, HR, and other planning partners to align Production planning with the enterprise view.
  • Act as the talent acquisition subject-matter expert for Production-related projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the talent ecosystem for Production and lead implementation of solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience with a foundation in talent acquisition, including at least 3 years as a practicing recruiter or recruiting leader.
  • Experience in planning, operations, strategy, or analytics in addition to a talent acquisition background.
  • Proven experience building or significantly redesigning a planning, capacity, or demand management process.
  • Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and able to build headcount and capacity models from the ground up.
  • Strong communication and narrative skills, including the ability to turn data into an executive-ready story that drives decisions.
  • Experience driving prioritization across competing stakeholders through data and influence.
  • Deep understanding of the recruiting lifecycle, capacity math, conversion rates, ramp models, and labor market dynamics.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience in BizOps, FP&A, or Strategy & Ops roles.
  • Preferred direct experience with headcount planning or workforce planning in a high-growth technology or manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience in management consulting focused on human capital, org design, or operational strategy.
  • Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday and ChartHop, and ATS tools such as Greenhouse.
  • Preferred experience in matrixed or divisional organizations with multiple P&Ls.
  • Preferred experience operating as an embedded DivOps or BizOps partner.
