Description

  • Lead solid rocket motor programs from concept into production.
  • Own the program with full authority and responsibility for execution.
  • Generate program plans and execute against them.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of multiple interdisciplinary technical teams.
  • Coordinate work with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, and other Rocket Motor Systems organizations outside Engineering.
  • Drive commonality and cost-reduction efforts across the assigned product line.
  • Develop and execute technical roadmaps for assigned products.
  • Work with integration engineers to ensure products transition appropriately to programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with the design, development, and manufacture of solid rocket motors.
  • Strong technical background in mechanical design, internal ballistics, structural analysis, or thermal analysis.
  • Strong project planning and project management skills.
  • Experience applying systems engineering principles, especially risk management and requirements management.
  • Ability to travel to Anduril, customer, or supplier sites as needed; anticipated travel is 25%.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Advanced degree (master’s or doctorate) in engineering or engineering management preferred.
  • Experience with SolidWorks CAD and/or Abaqus FEA preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance preferred.
