Description

  • Support flight operations by planning schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating activities for development and customer-facing events.
  • Serve as site lead for flight test events, demonstrations, and operational deployments across multiple locations.
  • Develop detailed logistics plans for demonstrations, deployments, operations, and system maintenance in military and test environments.
  • Coordinate with test engineers, pilots, program teams, and military partners to align logistics with test schedules and mission planning.
  • Manage demonstration and test inventory, equipment readiness, and site logistics to maintain operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate logistics considerations into product design, development, and sustainment planning.
  • Contribute to proposal development for new contracts, with emphasis on logistics and sustainment.
  • Analyze and improve logistics and operations processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and scale programs.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in military and civilian airlift logistics with strong ground and air support operations experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing logistics strategies for complex military systems in line with DoD logistics processes, regulations, and standards.
  • Experience with logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize complex logistics networks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with emerging defense technologies and their logistical implications.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with C5, C-17, C-130, or civilian equivalent logistics planning, cargo handling, large-scale deployments, and supply flow (preferred).
  • Experience with autonomous systems or unmanned aerial vehicles (preferred).
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping environments (preferred).
  • Exposure to international logistics and foreign military sales (preferred).
