Description

Program and operate Hexagon (Romer) arm and Hexagon CMM using PC-DMIS to inspect parts against requirements.
Measure and analyze incoming materials from external suppliers and components and assemblies produced at Anduril HQ.
Support the design, build, and validation of holding fixtures used with CMMs.
Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to support product design and development.
Maintain lab equipment through calibration, cleanliness, and adherence to best practices.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
Help ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 17025.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define inspection and reporting strategies.
Support quality investigations and internal manufactured components.
Program and operate Portable CMM, fixed CMM, CT scanner, and Keyence systems.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or some technical training preferred.
4+ years of experience programming CMMs.
Advanced knowledge of metrology.
Proficiency with precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, height gauges, and other measurement tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for explaining inspection results to cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience with PC-DMIS and Polyworks.
Acceptable experience with Calypso, MCosmos, or other CMM software.
Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
Experience building holding fixtures for CMMs.
Understanding of AS9100 compliance, knowledge sharing, and sustainment.

US hourly range of $98,000 to $130,000.
