Description

Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test execution, regression testing, and release sign-off for new features and platform changes.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support development of business-critical insurance workflows.
Partner with product managers to prioritize testing efforts, clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and coordinate business acceptance testing.
Work with SDETs to expand and maintain automated test coverage for new features and regression scenarios.
Collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-business-unit projects.
Test data ingestion pipelines, catastrophe risk models, underwriting workflows, and policy lifecycle changes before release.
Identify and mitigate quality risks to ensure products meet reliability and quality standards.
Create and execute test cases and reporting for complex front-end and back-end systems.
Support testing of integration, functional, end-to-end, API, and database-driven scenarios.

Requirements

3+ years of QA experience with a focus on manual testing, including Black Box, White Box, and Grey Box testing.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Good understanding of integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
Experience with microservices architecture and API testing using tools like Postman.
Experience with SQL, including select, join, group, limit, and alias operations.
Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting for complex front-end and back-end systems.
Ability to create test cases and collections that reflect requirements and business rules in collaboration with product managers.
Experience with test case management tools, preferably XRay.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Independent problem-solver and collaborative team player.
Strong written and spoken English and at least basic Polish.
Availability in the afternoons, with occasional evening meetings as needed across time zones.
Experience in a product company, ideally a startup or scale-up, is a plus.
Experience with Google BigQuery is a plus.
ISTQB Foundation Level certificate is a plus.
