Description

  • Develop supply plans with the Demand Planning team to meet overall material needs.
  • Proactively identify and escalate material shortages using clear-to-build and weeks-on-hand reporting.
  • Manage execution of the supply plan with Procurement to maintain target stock levels.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to align component availability with production scheduling.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to plan, track, and maintain material requirements during NPI efforts.
  • Work with Engineering and Configuration Management to provide material coverage visibility through the CCB process.
  • Manage consumables inventory to support Production, Engineering, and Deployment Operations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate master data for MRP planning inputs.
  • Own material flow across the value chain from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production-related role involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a value chain end to end and coordinate across internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under strict quality standards.
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle or a similar ERP system.
  • Ability to take on substantial responsibility across supply chain, logistics, engineering, and material planning with a bias toward speed and accuracy.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and/or Six Sigma principles (preferred).
