Description

  • Coordinate participant recruitment across five study sites through site referral pipelines.
  • Screen participants for eligibility and obtain informed consent by phone.
  • Enter enrollment and baseline data in REDCap for newly consented participants.
  • Conduct follow-up outreach at 4, 8, 12, and 16 weeks and complete phone-based assessments when needed.
  • Track follow-up completion rates by site and escalate gaps to the Study Director.
  • Manage participant stipend disbursement through ClinCard and maintain disbursement records.
  • Maintain participant contact logs and follow-up tracking records.
  • Manage participant data in REDCap, resolve data discrepancies, and perform quality checks.
  • Prepare and submit data exports to the biostatistics partner on schedule.
  • Assist with scheduling qualitative interviews and coordinate delivery of recordings to the transcription vendor.
  • Document and distribute notes from monthly site operations calls and support progress report drafting and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, public health, community health, psychology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of direct experience working with people experiencing substance use disorder, homelessness, justice involvement, or other forms of structural marginalization.
  • Experience in a clinical, community health, peer support, or research context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with participants in difficult circumstances.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach by phone and email, including hard-to-reach participants.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with data entry and data management.
  • Comfort with remote work and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Experience with REDCap or similar electronic data capture platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IRB processes and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles (preferred).
  • Experience working across Tribal, correctional, perinatal, or emergency department settings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ClinCard or other participant payment platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with NIH grant processes, including RPPRs (preferred).
  • Lived experience with substance use disorder or recovery is valued (preferred).
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% for planned site visits in Washington and Ohio.

  • Starting salary of $60,000–$65,000 annually.
