Description

  • Lead full-lifecycle PCB/CCA/PCBA design from architecture and component selection through schematic capture, layout, fabrication, and integration.
  • Validate and debug complex hardware through simulation, hands-on prototyping, and board- and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and fixtures for hardware validation, characterization, and qualification.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to support system integration and improve manufacturability.
  • Research and apply new technologies and design processes to improve electrical hardware solutions.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability and testability (DFM/DFT).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-lifecycle hardware design.
  • Extensive experience with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for schematic capture, layout, routing, and fabrication outputs.
  • Experience designing complex, high-layer-count PCB/CCA/PCBA boards.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed digital design, signal integrity, power integrity, analog, mixed-signal, and power delivery circuits.
  • Experience with simulation and analysis techniques, including SI/PI and thermal analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring up, test, and debug new hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Travel may be required depending on the specific role.
  • Experience debugging down to the component level is preferred.
