Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to improve continuity, quality, efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers covering pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service.
  • Collaborate with supply chain experts across the company to develop and execute best practices.
  • Partner with engineering, program management, finance, and business leadership to resolve issues and negotiate tradeoffs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Define, monitor, and report on supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Lead, manage, train, and grow a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions and market changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
  • At least 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or a related industry (preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience driving and influencing large teams toward common goals (preferred).
  • Ability to contribute as an individual contributor while managing a small team (preferred).
