Description

  • Distill and fine-tune transformer architectures for deployment on edge devices and in compute-denied environments.
  • Propose and prototype LLM-based agentic systems to solve real-world operational problems.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art techniques to build generative AI features and products for the Lattice platform.
  • Develop and maintain mission-relevant benchmarks for model evaluation.
  • Work cross-functionally across Anduril business lines to discover and scope new research problems.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and benchmarking ML algorithms.
  • Experience pushing and maintaining ML algorithms in production.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Experience fine-tuning transformer-based models (preferred).
  • Experience deploying deep learning models to edge devices or air-gapped environments (preferred).
  • Prior experience in defense tech or a startup (preferred).
