Description

  • Lead electrical engineering technical work for complex projects.
  • Track project scope, schedule, fee, and overall progress.
  • Oversee technical review and deliver high-quality project outputs.
  • Design and guide models, plans, details, and drawings for electrical systems and components.
  • Provide technical direction for medium-voltage distribution, microgrids, photovoltaic systems, battery systems, building power systems, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
  • Perform and guide electrical calculations, including SKM analysis, arc flash, and photometric calculations.
  • Support the career development and technical growth of team members.
  • Mentor staff, motivate teams, and foster a collaborative, innovative culture.
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and represent the discipline in meetings and events.
  • Manage project and staffing plans, conduct training, and support project execution from initiation through completion.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or MA/MS in a related field and 15 years of related experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading engineering projects.
  • Experience in building power systems, lighting design, medium-voltage distribution, SKM analysis, and photometric calculations.
  • Experience with AGI or Elumtools preferred.
  • Experience with commercial, mixed-use, aviation, hospitality, and/or high-rise building electrical system design preferred.
  • Experience designing sustainable building systems, including familiarity with LEED, Green Building Institute, or similar sustainability credentials.
  • Substantial experience using Autodesk Revit 3-D modeling software and directing construction document preparation.
  • Experience leading QAQC and coordinating design documents across disciplines.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and respond to sensitive inquiries.
  • Ability to write technical opinions, articles, and thought-leadership social media content.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites or offices as needed.
  • Must already have work authorization in the country where the job is located; no visa sponsorship is available.
