Description

  • Lead end-to-end compliance and controls testing to assess design and operating effectiveness and identify control gaps for remediation.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, Information Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical processes.
  • Provide credible challenge to remediation plans and track findings from identification through validation using GRC tools such as AuditBoard.
  • Support information security risk assessments and quantify relevant threat scenarios and mitigating controls.
  • Execute cyclical test reviews, including data gathering, walkthroughs, detailed testing, results communication, reporting, and issue tracking.
  • Prepare scoping materials, fieldwork documentation, and data analytics to support testing reviews.
  • Implement and support the issue management framework, including metrics, tracking, and validation.
  • Evaluate information and data to produce meaningful results for risk and control owners and determine whether compliance obligations are being met.
  • Work directly with control owners to resolve issues and ensure regulatory requirements are addressed.
  • Collaborate across teams to solve problems, resolve technical debates, and adapt communication for diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with testing life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in IT risk and information security audits.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and auditing within the financial services industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of core banking regulations, including Complaint Management, Disclosures, Financial Crimes Compliance, Privacy, and Security.
  • Working knowledge of the full audit/testing lifecycle, information security risk and controls, SOC, and policy governance and management.
  • Experience writing clear, accurate reports that summarize issues identified.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work products and manage projects with tight timelines and multiple complex priorities.
  • Ability to be flexible and pivot quickly in a changing environment.
  • Experience with GRC management tools, such as AuditBoard.
  • Preferred: expertise in auditing or testing AML programs and trading activities.
  • Preferred: security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP.
  • Preferred: understanding of crypto staking and/or governance.
  • Preferred: technical or engineering background or mindset.
  • Preferred: strong SQL or data analysis skills, including pulling data from BigQuery.
