Description

  • Perform daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for the consolidated U.S. legal entity and other group entities.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with U.S. GAAP, local GAAP when applicable, and company policies.
  • Analyze and process GL, AP, and AR transactions, including identifying issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Review material entries before finalizing financial reporting to support high-quality accounting output.
  • Partner with internal teams to support a timely and efficient month-end close process.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing explanations as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects while communicating impacts to other priorities and recurring responsibilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand historical transactions, business needs, and global strategy requirements.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and build effective relationships with stakeholders across teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, and/or Audit.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial management, reporting, accounting, and/or audit.
  • Experience in a GL role, AP role, or AR/revenue role with related transaction processing and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Solid English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 firm (preferred).
  • CPA certification (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including SOX compliance (preferred).
  • Prior experience with tax compliance and other reporting requirements (preferred).
  • Proficiency with NetSuite (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Airbase (preferred).
  • Prior experience in multinational companies or a fast-paced startup/fintech environment (preferred).
  • Blockchain and crypto knowledge (preferred).
