Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers through feedback, career development, recognition, and performance management.
  • Own the QA Tools strategy, roadmap, priorities, and outcomes in alignment with Quality Engineering and Engineering goals.
  • Set technical direction for automation frameworks, CI/CD quality practices, automated quality gates, and AI-enabled engineering.
  • Evolve quality metrics and reporting to identify risk, connect quality practices to outcomes, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Build partnerships across Engineering, Product, and QA leadership and gain adoption for quality practices and organizational change.
  • Define and advance Quality Engineering standards with QA leadership across Engineering teams.
  • Develop product and customer workflow knowledge to identify quality risks and reinforce shared quality ownership.
  • Manage priorities, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, execution, and change across complex initiatives.
  • Lead complex, cross-team initiatives from strategy through adoption and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, and empowering Quality Engineering or software engineering teams, including experienced technical contributors.
  • Strong knowledge of modern Quality Engineering, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, and scalable testing approaches.
  • Experience independently leading complex, cross-team initiatives from strategy through measurable outcomes.
  • Strategic, data-driven problem-solving ability, including prioritization, ambiguity management, and adapting direction.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and build buy-in.
  • Experience in healthcare technology or another regulated software environment preferred.
