Description

Support production systems across ESXi, Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
Use configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet for scalable systems administration.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and operational tooling.
Configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems, with basic support for Windows systems.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for repeatable deployments.
Ensure compliance with security and data handling requirements such as PCI and HIPAA.
Collaborate with engineering peers as an accountable member of the technology team.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance activities.
Build automation workflows for provisioning, patching, monitoring, incident response, and operational remediation.
Develop monitoring, alerting, and self-healing automation solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience managing Linux-based systems; certifications are a plus.
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar frameworks.
Experience with on-premises and cloud virtualization and storage platforms such as ESXi, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Experience with Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK Stack).
Experience managing identity and authentication solutions including LDAP, Active Directory, and multi-factor authentication.
Strong scripting and software development skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
Experience supporting large-scale production environments with an automation-first mindset.
Experience building reusable automation tooling and operational integrations in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Experience with certifications is preferred.
