Description

  • Support production systems across ESXi, Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
  • Use configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet for scalable systems administration.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and operational tooling.
  • Configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems, with basic support for Windows systems.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for repeatable deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data handling requirements such as PCI and HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with engineering peers as an accountable member of the technology team.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Build automation workflows for provisioning, patching, monitoring, incident response, and operational remediation.
  • Develop monitoring, alerting, and self-healing automation solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing Linux-based systems; certifications are a plus.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with on-premises and cloud virtualization and storage platforms such as ESXi, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana (ELK Stack).
  • Experience managing identity and authentication solutions including LDAP, Active Directory, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Strong scripting and software development skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
  • Experience supporting large-scale production environments with an automation-first mindset.
  • Experience building reusable automation tooling and operational integrations in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience with certifications is preferred.
