Description

  • Own the Data and Outcomes business area, including portfolio performance, value realization, and delivery outcomes.
  • Define and drive the multi-year roadmap and enterprise investment strategy, including prioritization, sequencing, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Establish portfolio-level north-star metrics and KPIs tied to customer value, adoption, time-to-value, reliability, and utilization.
  • Build and maintain the portfolio operating plan, including capacity allocation, headcount planning, vendor/tooling investment, and roadmap commitments.
  • Establish and run product investment governance processes such as annual planning, quarterly reforecasting, and business area reviews.
  • Develop business cases for new investments, including market sizing, customer value, expected benefits, risks, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial leadership to track and report outcomes tied to data investments such as revenue enablement, margin, and retention.
  • Serve as Amwell’s senior product leader for health plan data and outcomes frameworks across claims, eligibility, provider, risk, quality, and utilization data.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable product strategies and requirements, and help guide cross-functional delivery across Product, Clinical, Services, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers while coaching them on rigor, accountability, customer engagement, storytelling, and execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with leadership in enterprise software and data products.
  • Experience owning portfolios and influencing executive investment decisions.
  • Experience defining and driving multi-year visions and roadmaps, including governance, prioritization frameworks, and measurable KPIs.
  • Extensive experience working directly with health plans in a software or analytics environment.
  • Deep fluency in payer data models, including eligibility, claims, population health, HEDIS/STARS, and gaps in care.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data governance, regulatory requirements, and payer operating models.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong executive presence and the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear narratives.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into successful product solutions and quantifiable outcomes.
  • Experience scaling data products from early concept to widespread adoption.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience building, coaching, and scaling product teams.
