Description

  • Provide weekly written reviews to guide and encourage users as they progress through online mental health and wellbeing programmes.
  • Review user engagement and help users stay motivated, supported, and engaged across anxiety, depression, and stress programmes.
  • Monitor user content for potential concerns and escalate issues through the appropriate channels when needed.
  • Use empathy and observation to personalize support, track patterns, and help users set realistic goals.
  • Encourage users to use the programme effectively to achieve their goals and reduce lapses in engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical supervisor team to promote safety, engagement, and appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Attend monthly meetings with your manager and supervisor, as well as monthly group supervision.
  • Maintain boundaries of the coaching role and respond appropriately to risk indicators under close training and supervision.

Requirements

  • Currently undertaking or have completed a Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Care, Psychotherapy, or Counselling.
  • Registered or in the process of becoming registered with an applicable recognised professional body in Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of online mental health services.
  • Experience working with Children & Young People services is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and typing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and personally in writing.
  • Comfort using multiple technological tools in day-to-day work and ability to adapt quickly to technological developments.
  • Insightful, empathetic, and compassionate approach with strong observational ability.
  • Excellent judgement with the ability to identify and respond to risk indications, recognise limits of training, and consult a supervisor as appropriate.
  • Experience with cognitive behavioural models, motivational interviewing, or short-term therapy approaches.
  • Ability to work part-time, 20 hours per week.
