Description

Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure they are testable and complete.
Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional team members to clarify requirements and support release sign-off.
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
Execute API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate system integrations.
Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and investigate backend issues.
Identify, investigate, document, and track defects, system issues, and performance bottlenecks through resolution.
Perform root cause analysis on reported issues and reproduce/debug defects with developers.
Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript).
Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices within the team.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Proven experience executing functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
Experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and test plans.
Strong ability to identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
Working knowledge of SQL for writing queries, validating data, and investigating issues.
Practical experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication in English.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress (preferred).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (preferred).
Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing (preferred).
Prior experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferred).
Understanding of maritime operations, vessel management, or crewing workflows (preferred).
