Description

Lead and mentor quality inspectors by coordinating daily activities, schedules, workflows, and performance standards.
Support inspectors in following work procedures, accurate work-order clocking, and safety requirements.
Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality Engineering, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks and support business needs.
Drive continuous improvement by maintaining 5S standards and implementing training programs for the inspector workforce.
Perform and oversee in-process, final, and First Article Inspections using metrology tools, drawings, and blueprints.
Troubleshoot challenging production issues using quality principles and technical judgment.
Help build a cross-functional, highly skilled inspection team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, defense, military, or high-reliability hardware testing environment.
U.S. Person status is required to access controlled data.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-standard aerospace or defense environments (preferred).
Hands-on inspection experience with structural, avionics, or propulsion manufacturing (preferred).
Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding teams in civilian manufacturing or military aviation/maintenance environments (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications using ASME Y14.5 GD&T (preferred).
Experience with precision hand tools and CMM equipment (preferred).
Understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (preferred).
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word (preferred).
Exceptional attention to detail, work efficiency, and communication skills (preferred).
