Description

  • Supervise salaried bargaining-unit process engineers supporting trim, chassis, and final operations.
  • Develop process tooling from vehicle design concept through in-plant vehicle launch.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across projects and issue resolution.
  • Manage complex projects end to end, including budget and timing targets.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving using tools such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, FMEAs, Pareto Charts, Histograms, Six Sigma, and Red X.
  • Direct design-for-manufacturing concepts across projects of all sizes.
  • Build a strong team environment and empower direct reports to own their processes.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Support work that may require extensive domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience related to automotive assembly technology supervision.
  • Knowledge of CAN software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed and willing to work any shift and overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or automotive technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervision experience in automotive manufacturing assembly preferred.
  • Experience with focused problem solving using Kaizen methodology preferred.
  • Experience in electrical and/or torque work strongly desired.
  • Experience working with vehicle CAN and CAN-FD networks and diagnostic tools preferred.
