Description

  • Co-facilitate trainings for clinical and non-clinical behavioral health staff with senior trainers.
  • Prepare, organize, and update training materials.
  • Coordinate training logistics and cohort scheduling.
  • Collect and summarize participant feedback to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Build foundational knowledge of SSI/SSDI programs, disability determination, and recovery-oriented behavioral health practices.
  • Provide supervised, entry-level guidance on reporting and documentation tasks.
  • Support data collection and outcome tracking.
  • Assist with stakeholder relationships, communications, training resources, toolkits, and guides.
  • Participate in team meetings and learn best practices from senior training staff.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in behavioral health recovery supports or related social services; internships and practicums count.
  • Interest in or exposure to training, coaching, or technical assistance delivery.
  • Willingness to learn SSI/SSDI and disability benefits processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person trainings, approximately 10–15% of the time.
  • Lived experience navigating disability benefits or behavioral health systems is valued and may substitute for some experience.
  • Experience or residence in Michigan is preferred.
  • Current eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship; all work must be performed within the continental U.S.
  • Ability to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time and maintain a dedicated remote workspace with reliable internet.
