Description

  • Lead UX strategy, visual design, and interface systems across the Alpine website.
  • Design high-conversion landing pages for more than 100 HVAC buyer intents.
  • Create the full UI and UX flow for the new System Selector guided buying tool.
  • Build the Alpine design system, including typography, components, and responsive structure.
  • Redesign mobile-first user journeys to improve clarity, trust, and calmness.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership to deliver pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Contribute to the brand identity refresh and visual storytelling across the site.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex consumer-facing products or e-commerce experiences.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates elegant UX systems, clean visual design, and conversion-focused thinking.
  • Ability to simplify complex decision flows into intuitive user journeys.
  • Strong visual taste and attention to detail.
  • Experience working directly with developers in a product environment.
  • Comfort with iterative design, prototyping, and data-informed decisions.
  • Experience designing guided decision tools or configurators is preferred.
  • Experience in home services, e-commerce, or marketplaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRO principles is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely, hybrid from Chicago, or in a work-from-home setup.
  • All computer equipment and training will be provided.
