Description

  • Write and ship production AI code as an active contributor.
  • Design and architect agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, Temporal, and Pydantic.
  • Own AI observability with LangFuse, including tracing, prompt versioning, evaluation, and benchmarking.
  • Define engineering standards for agent design patterns, RAG, prompt management, context optimization, and tool-calling strategies.
  • Partner with product and platform teams to deliver AI systems that meet enterprise SLA, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI tooling, orchestration frameworks, and LLM providers.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and design discussions.
  • Represent Acquia in customer architectural reviews, technical discovery, and roadmap conversations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in production AI agents.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, Temporal, and Pydantic for stateful, cyclic, multi-agent workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with LangFuse for tracing, evaluation, prompt management, and dataset-driven testing.
  • Experience with agent harness frameworks such as LangChain or similar tools like LlamaIndex or CrewAI.
  • Deep Python proficiency and strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, CI/CD, and architecture.
  • Cloud AI deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerization and inference cost management.
  • Knowledge of RAG architecture, including vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience in enterprise SaaS or CMS environments, especially Drupal-based DXP platforms.
  • Preferred familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
  • Preferred experience with persistent agent runtimes such as OpenClaw or Hermes Agent.
  • Preferred experience with LLM fine-tuning or model evaluation and understanding of foundational model tradeoffs.
  • Preferred experience designing human-in-the-loop and interrupt-driven agent systems.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting AI system design to technical and executive stakeholders.
