Description

  • Define and evolve the developer experience strategy in partnership with engineering leadership.
  • Align Core Developer Experience and Cloud/Platform DX efforts into a cohesive end-to-end experience.
  • Identify and drive improvements across the full developer journey from local development to production.
  • Establish and standardize developer productivity metrics and engineering insights such as DORA and DX.
  • Guide the evolution of internal developer platforms and self-service capabilities.
  • Improve CI/CD systems for reliability, speed, and predictability at scale.
  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices across teams and enable safe experimentation.
  • Partner with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to influence direction without direct ownership.
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor for DevEx thinking and execution.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, and large-scale engineering systems.
  • Strong software engineering background with deep systems and operational thinking.
  • Proven track record of defining and driving cross-organizational technical strategy.
  • Experience working across multiple domains such as platform, cloud, CI/CD, and developer tooling.
  • Strong experience with internal developer platforms (IDP) and self-service ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of developer productivity metrics and engineering insights such as DORA and DX.
  • Experience improving CI/CD systems for reliability, speed, and predictability at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to align multiple teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with progressive delivery practices such as feature flags and canary releases.
  • Recent experience driving or adopting AI-enabled development workflows across the SDLC.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across engineering and leadership levels.
  • Familiarity with frontend platforms or microfrontend architectures is preferred.
  • Availability for EST or UK timezone overlap is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base compensation of $246,000 to $339,000 USD.
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Equity may be offered.
