Description

  • Update three-statement financial models for publicly traded companies’ earnings reports.
  • Build and support the review of detailed three-statement financial models.
  • Contribute to sub-sector-specific and coverage-wide model improvements.
  • Develop sector expertise to support modeling standards, comparative analysis dashboards, and new model features.
  • Document modeling best practices.
  • Support Analysts in providing exceptional client service to users.
  • Conduct ad-hoc general research and company due diligence.
  • Participate in training new members of the Research Team.

Requirements

  • Able to work in the PST timezone.
  • 2+ years of experience in equity research, financial modeling, or accounting.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and sector understanding.
  • Progress toward a CFA, CPA, or MBA is preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate outputs.
  • Leadership traits and/or experience training or mentoring peers.
  • Proven ability to support client service and contribute to team strategy.
  • Experience building and improving three-statement financial models independently.
  • A CFA may be in progress or planned.

Benefits

  • Base compensation of $53,000–$62,500 CAD.
