Description

  • Set the UX direction for the core AI and agentic experience across the platform.
  • Lead cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to define the right first steps and sequencing.
  • Solve complex data-dense UX challenges around defaults, information overload, trust, transparency, and cohesion.
  • Stay hands-on by prototyping in code and contributing to high-leverage product surfaces.
  • Define how AI appears as a first-party capability across the broader product experience.
  • Contribute to a rebuilt design system that is code- and AI-readable.
  • Coach, grow, and support a small team of senior designers.
  • Hire and level design talent as the team expands.
  • Create operating mechanisms such as UX audits, opportunity maps, product narratives, and design reviews.
  • Communicate design proposals persuasively to VP- and C-level leaders using customer evidence and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant product design experience at technical, product-driven companies.
  • 3+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Experience owning and shipping a major product area’s end-to-end experience.
  • Experience designing for complex, data-dense, or expert-user domains is ideal.
  • Strong opinions paired with humility and willingness to update direction based on evidence.
  • Genuine AI-native product judgment for trust, control, and workflow transformation in agentic and probabilistic systems.
  • Comfort prototyping in code; React or modern front-end experience is an advantage.
  • Experience using AI tools in your workflow.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Curiosity about financial services, fintech, or other high-stakes professional domains; domain expertise is a strong plus.
  • Preference for candidates in NYC, a similar time zone, or able to travel.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $224,000 to $308,000 USD.
